We submitted our first Club La Costa Fractional claim eight years ago, long before anyone else had realised that CLC was illegally selling timeshares as an investment. A propaganda campaign from the timeshare industry and its associates, plus mistakes, blunders, and ignorance by the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS), meant their final decision was inexcusably delayed. However, in 2021, the FOS produced a final determination in Favour of CLC Fractional members. The High Court also held up this decision on the 5th of May, 2023. As many will be aware, Club La Costa has gone into administration and been taken over by Wyndham Resorts. This means the only way to reclaim your money is through the bank that funded your purchase.
