Over the last ten years, we have recovered and prevented millions of pounds of timeshare exit fraud. Our free advice has prevented thousands of timeshare owners from proceeding with scams, and our knowledge of who's behind these scams has led to many more scammers being stopped in their tracks.
Knowing how to spot a timeshare exit scam could prevent you from losing money and wasting time listening to misinformation about the status of your timeshare ownership. Read this information carefully and exit your timeshare safely.

If you have not paid your maintenance fees for six years or more and your resort has yet to issue any proceedings against you, you need not take further action. The statute of limitations prevents the collection of outstanding maintenance and legal action due to the act's six-year time limit. At this point, county court judgements (CCJs) are void.
Significantly, few timeshare companies will legally challenge unpaid maintenance fees through the UK court system. The main culprits are timeshare companies based in the UK. You should be aware of the enforcement of timeshare maintenance fees but in no hurry to resolve them through unregulated cold callers and companies that take upfront fees irrespective of your contractual issues.

There is no such thing as the 'timeshare register'. This is a fictitious phrase used by scammers to scare you into believing that you still own your timeshare. The most recent tactic is telling people they are still on the 'FNTC official timeshare register'. Again, this is a scam tactic to scare timeshare consumers into thinking they will be taken off this list by paying out more money. This is not true, and the same people will call you back a few months later and tell you that what you did was wrong and offer to help by asking you to pay more money! Investigations by our tech wizards can prove that the same people and criminal organisations are behind the vast majority of timeshare exit scams in the UK.

You are told that new companies are now chasing outstanding historical maintenance fees due to your timeshare company changing hands. Victims are often told that the new company is waiting for the amount to build to a substantial amount before issuing a collection. In some cases, victims have also been cold-called and told that bailiffs are on their way to collect these fees and that the only resolution is to arrange an appointment with a representative who can stop this by paying them more money. Also a scam and completely untrue.

You are told that you are almost guaranteed compensation for timeshare misselling. Companies will often dangle you a carrot in the hope that you will pay them upfront fees as part of your timeshare exit. Scam companies will tempt you into paying an upfront fee by leading you to believe that you will be getting your money back or will get considerably more than you paid. This is untrue in 90% of cases, and only timeshare owners who took out a credit agreement to fund their timeshare purchase have any hope of getting back their money.

The Solution.
In some cases, you can get out of your timeshare for free. Particular resorts will take your ownership back at no cost. Although this is only true in a very small number of cases, it is always worth checking with your resort before spending any more money. If you would like to legally exit your timeshare without paying upfront fees, we can help. Our no upfront fee service guarantees that you are in safe hands. We have successfully relinquished thousands of timeshare contracts and made millions of pounds of successful timeshare claims without taking a penny in upfront fees.
