Are you one of the many people who have received an unexpected maintenance fee demand from Ona Group? ( Letter opposite, or if you're on a mobile device, below).
If so, it's important not to ignore it, as in some cases the problem could escalate and a claim could be made against your estate, if it isn't dealt with appropriately.
All the letters sent were generic, dated October 31st, 2025, but arrived in people's letter boxes over the Christmas period. And I'm sure it was an unwanted delivery.
Most of the demands are for amounts ranging from 6000 to 10000 Euros, dating back as far as 15 years.
This, in no uncertain terms, is a 'smash and grab' exercise designed to scare people into handing over thousands of pounds.
DON'T PANIC OR BE BULLIED INTO PAYING THIS DEBT. WE CAN HELP. READ OUR ADVICE BELOW AND GET IN TOUCH.
Who is Ona Group and what's their play?
Ona Group invests in failed timeshare resorts and maintenance debts. Making their money from the collection of yearly fees. Unlike 99% of other timeshare companies, which made their money from the sale of timeshares to consumers.
With huge swathes of timeshare owners choosing to legally exit their timeshare contracts through companies such as ourselves, and the purchase of new timeshares being an unpopular, inflexible, and an expensive choice for new clients, companies such as Ona Group are seeking to take advantage of people who they believe still own at the resorts that they manage.
Paying the requested demand could make you liable for future yearly fees.
Unfortunately, many of the people affected believed that they had either walked away from their membership many years ago or used a company that they believed had relinquished the timeshare for them.
Another reason we are coming across is that timeshare members had already had their money back from Barclays Partner Finance, believing that the ownership had been cancelled as part of the claim. This is not always the case as the timeshare ownership and finance are often separate liabilities.
What is your best course of action?
Ona Group is well known for its persistence in chasing debts. If you haven't had the correct advice or used the right company to exit from your timeshare contracts legally, you could be at risk.
Over the last decade, we have helped thousands of timeshare owners exit their contracts safely and legally, without paying any upfront fees.
We can cancel your Ona Group Timeshare membership and outstanding debt without the payment of any upfront fees. In most cases, it is very unlikely that you will qualify for compensation; your biggest saving will be the extraction of yourselves from the contract, maintenance fees and historical debt.
