As we have written in previous articles, Seasons members are being aggressively marketed to attend update meetings at their Bristol Headquarters. These meetings attempt to upgrade Seasons members to another product and take their existing Keys memberships in part exchange.
The sales tactic used by Seasons Holidays is to scare their members into submission. This is done by telling them that their Keys membership is worthless, will not be resold, and that maintenance fees must be paid once the 16-year Keys membership ends.
The new membership is presented as a 'load and drop'. This is where the price of the new product is over-inflated, and a fake discount is given as a trade-in value against the cost. Yet again, leading Seasons members to believe that the product they have purchased is of greater value than the actual cost.
It is hard to believe Propensio Finance is providing loans for timeshare products. Especially as Seasons Holiday's previous lender for timeshare products, Barclays Partner Finance is already paying out compensation for products that Seasons Holidays had recently missold.
Propensio Finance Limited is part of the Quilam Capital Investments group, and it's interesting to note that Tandem Finance also forms part of its portfolio. Tandem Finance is also involved in lending vast amounts of money to victims of the Club La Costa and Diamond Resorts' 500 million pound timeshare fractional ownership scandal.
Propensio Finances' motto is " Improving lives through lending," which couldn't be further from the truth if you provide loans to timeshare owners who have already lost thousands of pounds due to misselling.
