Don't become a victim of the elaborate timeshare debt collection scam. Thousands of past and present timeshare owners are being contacted by a criminal organisation that is attempting to defraud them of their money.
Victims are told that they have outstanding maintenance fees, and unless they make a Zoom appointment with a representative, they will be taken to court and subject to paying outstanding maintenance fees.
We can guarantee this is a scam, and you can completely disregard anything you have been told by the criminal you spoke with.
You will be asked if you want to make a 'counter-claim' against the 'judgment' made against you. You will then be referred to a 'legal representative' that will attempt to put the fear of god into you and dangle the compensation carrot.
You will have spoken with professional criminals, who may sound plausible. This is all part of the elaborate scam that will result in you losing money.
The modus operandi of the criminal group is the scare people into parting with their money. As with many of the previous articles we have written, it's a different story with the same outcome. You will be asked to pay upfront fees for fake services that will result in you losing time, sleep and money.

It's important to remember that the criminals employed to defraud you are ex-timeshare salespeople who are experts at deception and manipulation. Your Zoom call will feel like a timeshare presentation, and you will feel under pressure to pay.
