If you are wanting to legally cancel your timeshare contract in a safe and secure way, follow these easily actionable tips.
1. Contact your Resort/Timeshare Company.
In some cases, you can exit your timeshare for free. Some timeshare companies will allow you to walk away from your timeshare ownership at no cost. If you want to make a compensation claim, it's essential to check with us if you qualify before relinquishing your timeshare back to the resort. If you do not qualify for compensation, giving your timeshare back to your resort for free is the best course of action.
2. Pay a Resort Exit Fee.
Although unethical, some timeshare companies will release you from your contract if you pay them an exit fee. Exit fees are often excessive and are another attempt by the timeshare industry to line their pockets. If you qualify for compensation, paying your resort an exit fee isn't necessary. Our exit fees are often less than what your resort might charge, so check with us first.

3. Non-payment of maintenance fees.
If you haven't paid your maintenance fees for six years or more, taking any further action is unnecessary. If your timeshare company doesn't take legal action within six years of non-payment, their claim against you is statute-barred. Scam companies will tell you that you are on a timeshare register and have to pay to be released from it. This advice is incorrect and an attempt to defraud you of your money. The modus operandi of these companies is to try to scare you into believing that debt collectors will be knocking on your door. This is wholly untrue.

4. Contact Us.
If none of the above options suits your needs or you have any further questions about the status of your timeshare contract, contact us. Over the last ten years, we have cancelled thousands of timeshare contracts and claimed millions in compensation.
