2025 has seen several audacious attempts by fake timeshare exit companies to deceive past and present timeshare owners. We received over 500 calls from worried timeshare owners in January, all of whom had been cold-called, emailed and texted by the same criminal organisation.
Victims are led to believe that timeshare maintenance fees are outstanding and legal proceedings will be issued against them within the next 7 days unless they arrange a meeting to discuss their case. This meeting leads to victims being asked to pay another large amount of money of at least £5000, which they are told will resolve their pending legal situation, cancel their outstanding fees and end their timeshare contract!

As with all cold calls relating to timeshare services, it is a SCAM. The sudden increase in timeshare scam-related calls is due to several timeshare exit companies closing down and their customers being retargeted and told that the services initially provided weren't legal or above board and if they don't have a legal certificate or notarised document, that victims still own their timeshares and are still liable for outstanding maintenance fees. Do not fall into the trap of paying these people money. They are a criminal organisation that is trying to steal your money. If you wish to check the status of your timeshare ownership, we can do that for free. In most circumstances, no further action needs to be taken, and no outstanding maintenance fees need to be paid.
