Do you wish to, or have you already stopped paying your timeshare maintenance fees? Either way, it's essential to understand your legal position and your consumer rights.

If you have not paid your maintenance fees for six years or more and your timeshare company has not initiated legal proceedings against you in the county court, you are not required to take any action.   • You are still on the timeshare register.
  • The company that has taken over is collecting fees.
  • That your timeshare hasn't been legally cancelled.
  • You do not have the necessary paperwork to prove cancellation.
